India, the holy ancient land and the source land of many religions, a land that believes in global peace, justice, spirituality, equality, tolerance etc, was subjected to invasions several times in history, like by Mughals, the Afghans, the British, Portuguese, French. Great Indian patriotic, nationalistic heroes, had endeavored to protect the land and its people, and many sacrificed their lives from invasions, threats, cruelty, atrocities, injustice, discrimination, innocent killings, torture, Barbarism etc.
Indian warriors, Sikh, Maratha etc fighters were known the world over, e.g., the British and the Commonwealth Forces used Indian soldiers to fight for their interests in the historic wars. An example is Mr. Nand Singh, who was even the recipient of UK’s Gallantry Award, the Victoria Cross. In the modern-day, Indian Army is among the top three Armies in the world. India is regarded as being the fourth most powerful military power, according to a study, shouldering the US, Russia, China.
