Rahu and Ketu, called the shadowy planets, are given the status and significance of a planet from the ancient Indian Astrology times, formed thousands of years ago. But Rahu and Ketu are not physical planets. Rahu and Ketu are actually imaginary meeting points between the Earth’s moon and the Sun. Rahu is called the north node, and Ketu is called the south node.
Even in the modern times, many Astrology systems, including many Western Astrologers use the Rahu and Ketu aspects in their Astrology schools, studies, birth chart readings, in concluding to more accurate predictions, horoscope etc.
Like other physical planets and celestial bodies, Rahu and Ketu also make transits from one zodiac sign to another, over a period of time. Rahu and Ketu will make a transit on the 7th of March 2019, Thursday, at 0248h. Rahu will transit from the sign Cancer to Gemini. Rahu will stay in Gemini from this 7th of March 2019 to the 22nd of September 2020, i.e., for 18 months or 1.5 years. Ketu will transit to Sagittarius for the same 1.5 years period, like Rahu.
The transit of Rahu and Ketu will have some change and effect in each of the zodiac sign. Rahu and Ketu can be both, malefic and benefic in nature; the effect may be positive or negative.
