Why did Lord Shiva Ran of Fear from 'Vakrasura'?

Once Narada was roaming in the ground, he found a demon named Vrikasura. On seeing Narada, he said, "Devarshi! You came on a good occasion. I would like to get an advice from you. Tell me, who is easy to impress among Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, who gets delighted soon "
Narada, he said very thoughtfully, "Vrikasura! you can complete your desire by doing penance from any of Mahadeva. Brahma and Vishnu are not happy soon, they have to do hard penance for many years. It is also possible that your age ends and penance is not complete. Yes, Lord Shankar is such that who is pleased with a little worship and avadhar dani is such that he does not do any thought to fulfill any wish of his devotee. The devotee immediately gave what he asked for.
So you can complete your desire by doing penance from any of the triad Mahadevas.
On hearing such word of Narada, Vrikasura decided to worship Lord Shankar and went to the Kedar region of Himalayas and started worshiping Lord Shiva. Yajna, chanting, meditation, meditation started in every way. After a few days he thought, "I will surrender my body and soul to Lord Shiva."
After thinking like this, one day he cut the flesh of his body and put it in the fire pit of the yagna, but Lord Shankar was not pleased with him. Then one day after getting bored, he decided to offer his God by cutting his head and meditating as soon as he lifted his head and cut his head, with a fierce voice, Lord Shankar appeared and said, "Watts! Just do it, your penance is complete. I'm happy with you Say no, what do you want? Ask for the groom. "
Seeing Lord Shankar standing in front, Vrikasura said with folded hands, "Mahaprabhu Shankar! Narada had said that you soon get pleased and give brides, but I was worshiping you for so many years, you were not moved. Today, when I went to sacrifice my life, you appeared pleased and appeared. You were not pleased immediately, that means Narada tricked me. Now if you want to give a happy groom then I want a similar hard bridesmaid
Please give me 'Maran-Vara'. Any creature whose hands I put on my head only, will die. If you are happy then give this bridesmaid. "
Shankar ji was shocked to hear this demonic demand of Vrikasura, but the word of the deity was to be fulfilled otherwise the dignity would have been destroyed. Said, "Vrikasura! Your penance will not go in vain. You did penance with the desire of a very difficult groom, so you had to make penance difficult. Go, get whatever you want. Your wish will be fulfilled. "
On receiving the blessings of Lord Shiva, Vakrasur’s devotional instinct was awakened. He started saying, "Lord! I want to test whether this bridesmaid is true or not, so first I put my hand on your head and see how much truth is there in this bridesmaid? " Lord Shankar got caught in his own trap after hearing such thing of Asura. What should we do now? This demon will neither listen nor listen. Lord Shankar fled thinking this way. Seeing Shankar running away, his anger grew, he started chasing, "Like Narada you have also tricked me. Why running away from the boon test? "
Shankar left the ground and ran to Devlok and Vakrasura followed him on the strength of demoniacal power. Shiva said, "Narayana! Do something and hurry, otherwise it will reach here too. "
Lord Vishnu created the form of an old  brahmachari from called as Yogmaya and walked there, from where Vakrasura was coming. On going too far, he saw Vakrasura coming. He went ahead and bowed to her and said, "Where are the Asuras running away?" Looks like you are very tired. Relax the body. All work is proved by the body, so do not destroy it more. You are capable in all ways, yet tell me if there is any work worthy of me.
Vakrasura spoke of Shiva's boon and his examination. Brahmachari laughed as soon as he heard this, "Asuraraj! Whose groom do you want to test? Shiva's? Someone who does not have any home or bar, who keeps walking around with ghosts and ghosts, what good will he give to someone?
There are only two gods who give brides, one is Brahma and the other is Vishnu. If you had to be gracious, you would worship Brahma or Vishnu. You are running unnecessarily behind Shiva. The bridegroom itself is so powerful that its brides cannot be affected by it. They have given you the boon of falsehood. Your penance went in vain. "
On hearing Brahmachari, Vakrasura was disappointed, his morale was broken. He started saying, "I was told by Devarshi Narada to worship Shiva." He can be happy and give the desired groom. "
Brahmachari said, "You are very naive, have believed in Narada. He is such a nomadic monk who advises everyone to reverse. No one would ever benefit from his advice. If you do not believe me, then put your hand on your own head and see how Shiva has seduced you by giving a false bridesmaid. Don't run away from their lies, so they run away. "
The morale of Vrikasura was so broken that he was convinced by the talk of that Brahmachari that Shiva also tricked him, gave a false boon. His conscience was destroyed. Thinking this, he put his hand on his own head to test the truth of the groom. As soon as he placed his hand on the head, a fierce fire appeared and Vrikasura was consumed in it and became a pile of ashes.
